My biggest exposure to Wonder Woman aside from the cartoons was perhaps a book on superheriones, which detailed a long list of superheriones, many of which I had never heard of. Wonder Woman gets some smack because her creator had some interesting ideas about women and women's role in society, as well as the "bondage", even though a good deal other superheroes at the time were also tied up. Also, Wonder Woman happens to live on an island inhabited only by women and even today guys have trouble with that... <br /><br />Hopefully it will get some good press here, back to the Silver and Gold age comics."<br /><br />There wasn't just a little bondage. There was a loooot of bondage. It's become a running gag with Wonder Woman these days. That, and not alot of writers seem to "get" Wonder Woman.
