It bugs me more that it did not have friggin' ending! I mean it, it did not end! It was like that last scene in Inception, except Inception had an actual plot, characters you cared for and didn't have to have a Bay-splosion every three minutes! Inception was actually GOOD, in other words, because you end up learning about the characters about their motives that were fully fleshed out! Here it's basically like Bay cannot get off a single note. He can't handle romance very well (a writing teacher of mine from a while back had a huge problem dealing with the fact that the dynamics between Mikaela and Sam were never explored in full in the first film), and he's too obessed with the military to make any military character disagreeable. Hey, I dislike guns, but I'm not afraid of popping one in a character's hand if the situation demands it. And I hate the one-off characters, it's fundamentally gratting on my nerves when a character is introduced for one second without much more characterization than "Oh hi my name is..." and gets to die like a dog near the end. WTH? Bay needs to learn from the original Star Wars to see how you carry a triology. Even with The Terminator movies (only 1 and 2, 3 and 4 are not canon according to me), when characters died, they gave off good characterizations as well, even if they died near the end. You just don't create characters that are just there as redshirts, unless you're doing Star Trek, give them a name and end up giving them less than a smidgen of characterization before they blow up. Where is the soul?<br /><br />On another note, I actually found that they were airing the original Transformers on the Hub, and you know what, they were good!"<br /><br />...
